Here at The Lakes, we love kids!

 We want to see kids grow in their faith and know how much they are loved, both by God and by us!

Kids belong here! (That is why we wait to dismiss them.) Kids are vital part of our church family and we want them to participate in worship, get to know the other members of our congregation and to have the opportunity to be loved on! We know that kids are kids! We don’t mind a bit of extra noise and energy during worship – they bring life to our church family!

We believe kids should encounter the love of Jesus for themselves! Every Sunday kids age 5 through 4th grade get dismissed from service halfway through worship and gather downstairs for a FUN, fabulous learning experience designed just for them!

How Kids Ministry Works

Sunday Mornings

Tinies

Ages 0-23 months.
The Tinies room is open from 9-11am. Checked-in children can be dropped off and picked up as needed. Adult led nursery provides a safe, loving environment where babies & toddlers are prayed for and snuggled Diapers are changed as needed, and kids get to snack & PLAY!

Littles

Ages 2-4 years.
The Littles room is open from 9-11am. Checked-in children can be dropped off and picked up as needed. Leaders in this room teach a short lesson and guide children through a craft, playtime and snacks!

Bigs

Ages 5 years through 4th Grade.
Our BIGS check in before 9am, then start in service worshipping with their families. Halfway through worship, kids are dismissed and head downstairs for their lesson, crafts, games, small groups & more!

All children are to be retrieved following service using the claim tag issued at check in.

Wednesday Evenings

5 - 6 pm

6 - 6:30 pm

6:30 - 8 pm

Come hang out and have dinner in the Fellowship Hall!
Enjoy a game as a group downstairs!
Transition into a time of storytelling, games, crafts, and prayer! 

Children will gather downstairs from 6 - 8 pm.
